Heuer hängt unsere Chayote voller Früchte. Voriges Jahr hatten wir um diese Zeit schon −2 °C, und fast die ganze Ernte war dahin – heuer schaut es deutlich besser aus. Weil die Temperaturen in der Früh aber schon auf rund 4 °C fallen, ernten wir jetzt die großen Früchte. Hier erfahrt ihr, worauf es bei Ernte, Lagerung und Überwinterung ankommt.
