Humus+ Days 2022
ORF presenter Angelika Ertl and Gerald Dunst will once again guide us through exciting presentations by practitioners, consultants and scientists this year.
On May 30, everything will revolve around the topic of “Building up humus to improve
the soil and climate”. In the morning, practitioners and consultants will report on successful methods of humus-building agriculture, before we ask ourselves the question in the afternoon: “What can our soils contribute to achieving climate targets?”
May 31 will then be devoted entirely to the topic of “Diversity through regenerative agriculture”. From vegetable growing and fruit growing to agroforestry, practitioners will report on the successes and challenges of regenerative agriculture. Towards the end of the day, we will take another look at the soil and the world of soil biology when we look at how fungi and co. improve (soil) fertility and (soil) health.
As in previous years, scientists, practitioners, exhibitors and many interested participants from Austria and abroad will gather in Kaindorf to discuss the latest findings in the field of humus and soil. A panel discussion will also provide an opportunity to develop new ideas and discuss possible solutions to current problems in agriculture.
