Goodbye CO2 - groundbreaking for biochar

- Binding of 3000 tons of CO2 per year (corresponds to approx. 2000 tons of biochar per year)
- 1 MW heat production
- 830 kWp photovoltaic system
- Energy self-sufficient operation thanks to hot gas turbine
- 6000 tons of screenings from composting and pruning per year
- 15,000 tons of sewage sludge drying per year
The new charcoal plant with an investment volume of approx. 7.3 million euros is the biggest step we have ever taken as a company! We already have a very wide range of products in which the raw material biochar plays a very important role. The following products, for example, contain biochar as a raw material:
- Bio Schwarzerde
- Bodenaktivator
- Feinsubstrat Skeletterde
- Feinsubstrat Konzentrat
- Bio Pflanzenkohle
- Futterkohle
- Bio Güllekohle
The reason for our expansion is therefore quite simply the increasing demand for our products.
We also want to create completely new product ranges!
