Apply pond soil to the desired areas and plant directly. If lush growth is desired, horn shavings can be mixed into the planting hole.
Pond soil must be phosphorus-free and generally have a low nutrient content. In addition, it must be stable and consistently heavier than water! The proportion of organic matter should be as low as possible. Our substrate fully meets all of these requirements.
