Our organic potting soil is ideal for sowing vegetables and flowers, as well as for subsequent transplanting of small plants. It has a very loose, airy structure, so that the roots do not break off easily during transplanting.
Please note: This soil retains water very well—even if it looks dry on the surface due to the added wood fibers, it is usually still sufficiently moist. Therefore, always check the moisture level before watering!
Once the plants start to grow leaves, this soil is too low in nutrients. Organic growing soil or organic tomato and vegetable soil is perfect for this next phase of cultivation.
There are very few peat-free growing soils on the market that really work. The combination of organic compost, wood fibers, and expanded clay granules ensures intensive root formation. The loose structure also makes this soil very pleasant to work with. The horn shavings it contains are a nitrogen fertilizer and are slowly decomposed by fungi. A white fungal network is therefore normal and indicates high biological activity.
Organic compost, wood fiber, expanded clay granulate, and horn shavings Screening: 8 mm Bulk density: 0.7 tons/m3

Growing Guide!
I always start sowing/growing in February. That's when the natural light conditions are already reasonably good and I no longer need artificial light.
